Rest in Peace Mairah Hassan

Rest in Peace Mairah Hassan

It was with such sadness and a heavy heart that I need to inform you that our brave little cancer warrior Mairah ran into the arms of Jesus . The battle is over and she is at peace now and free from pain.

When Mairah was just 15 months old, she was diagnosed with Stage IV High Risk Neuroblastoma, which is a form of childhood cancer. She also had a genetic mutation fueling the cancer, which made treatment much harder.

To Mairah’s Family:
Please accept our deepest sympathies for the loss of your baby girl. We pray that the light of God’s love shines upon you as you face the darkness of your pain and your grief. Know that God will never forsake you. He will always look after you because you are His child and He is your Father. May you be blessed with the peace and comfort that you seek during this difficult time.

Lamentations 3:31-33: “For the Lord will not cast off forever. Though He causes grief, yet He will show compassion according to the multitude of His mercies. For He does not afflict willingly, nor grieve the children of men”.

May God give you all the Grace to accept what has happened and the serenity to carry on living.
Team AOM.

Celebrate Women`s Month With Us This August!

Celebrating Women`s Month

“The world needs strong women who will lift and build others. Who will love and be loved. Women who live bravely, both tender and fierce; women of indomitable will.” ~ Amy Tenney

During the month of August – as a token of our appreciation to all women – we will include special packaging with every set of bracelets that you order from Arms of Mercy.

We have used the Tree of Life charm, as a symbol of personal growth, strength and beauty.

The Tree of Life symbol represents our personal development, uniqueness and individual beauty. Just as the branches of a tree strengthen and grow upwards to the sky, we too grow stronger, striving for greater knowledge, wisdom and new experiences as we move through life.

So let`s bless all the amazing women in our lives with this beautiful pink and grey set of bracelets. (Jasper & hand painted glass beads). Whether it’s your CEO or your tea lady – because every woman should know she is valued and appreciated.

All proceeds will be donated to our AOM children to provide funding for their ongoing medical expenses, treatments and therapies!

Mandela Day – Children`s Homes Outreach

mandela day

This year on Mandela Day, Arms of Mercy NPC have chosen to take action and pay it forward to Hebron Safe-home in De Aar, the Herberg Kinderhuis in Robertson, and Peace Home in Bloubergstrand, in support of the amazing work they do and positive change they bring about in the children’s lives.

WHY 67 MINUTES

The main theme around Mandela Day is “action against poverty”. We would like to serve the community and especially during these tough times of hardship. Unfortunately 67minutes of our time will be impossible this year due to the pandemic and therefore we are pleading with the community to donate R67.

We are aware that life is tough out there but we still have so much to be thankful for. We are only asking for a R67 donation to ensure that all the precious children are taken care of as all children’s homes are taking severe strain right now. Funds raised will be used for food and clothing.

Let’s open our hearts this year and give back to those who are less fortunate. Together we can change the World!
