Fundraising for Charlene and Miandrie Fourie – Severe Burn Victims

Charlene and Miandrie`s story:

Charlene (22yr) and Miandrie Fourie (1yr), were severely burned by a fire explosion on the 16th of June 2020. They were rushed to Rosepark Private Hospital as the State Hospital did not want to assist. Thereafter they were transferred to Pelonomi Trauma Unit State Hospital.

Charlene has 2nd degree burns on her face, arm, chest, stomach area and right hand. Little Miandrie has burns on her face, bad burns on her right hand and arm, and blisters on her legs.

We want them to go to a private wound care facility so that they may receive proper care, and so that they have a chance of a better outcome with the healing of their faces and bodies, and to minimize scarring. As we all know, the State facilities won`t have the proper care to make sure that they do not live with horrible scars for the rest of their lives.

They do not have medical aid therefore we are asking you to open your heart and assist with raising funds for their medical expenses at the private hospital, as well as wound care after they are discharged. Together we can and make a significant difference in their lives going forward; one bracelet at a time!

Follow their Page on Facebook for live dates on their progress.
