Die vier-jarige Keanu Moore, van Brackenfell, is op die ouderdom van twee met neuroblastoomkanker gediagnoseer. Wat gevolg het, is die verhaal van ‘n jong seun in ‘n stryd om sy lewe, oor kontinente heen.

Sluit aan by Arms of Mercy se ‘High Tea Fundraiser’, ter ondersteuning van kankerbewustheid, op die skilderagtige Marlenique Estate in Simondium, Stellenbosch op 2 November. Geniet die berg-en-vrugteboorde natuurtonele, tesame met Michelle Gildenhuys Adams as seremoniemeester, kunstenaar Cordelia en ander spesiale gaste en sprekers, terwyl Keanu se onko-mamma Collette van de Giessen haar reis van die afgelope paar jaar deel.

Die inspirerende geleentheid sal diegene met ‘n liefde vir ‘n pragtige omgewing en dekor, inspirerende vroue en jong krygers bymekaarbring. Dit sal vermaak insluit, en praatjies deur Lizelle Knott van Cancervive, ‘n limfoomkoors-oorwinnaar en borskanker-kryger, en die deel van ‘n gesonde leefstylprogram deur Simone Simon, β€˜n lewenstyl en persoonlike afrigter.

Arms of Mercy is in 2017 gestig deur ‘n klein span individue, vir dienslewering aan ander en veral om ‘n verskil te maak in die lewens van kinders wat kanker beveg.

Die geregistreerde, nie-winsgewende inisiatief maak uniek, handgemaakte armbande van hoΓ« gehalte, elkeen spesiaal ontwerp vir ‘n spesifieke kind/ers, om fondse in te samel, met alle opbrengste ter voordeel van die kinders en ter ondersteuning van hul ouers..

Join Arms of Mercy’s β€˜High Tea Fundraiser’, in aid of cancer awareness, at thescenic Marlenique Estate in Simondium, Stellenbosch on 2 November. Enjoy the views of the mountains and orchards, with MC Michelle Gildenhuys Adams, artist Cordelia and other special guests and speakers, as Keanu’s onco-mommy Collette van de Giessen shares her journey.

The inspirational event will gather those who have a love for beautiful surroundings and decor, inspirational women and young warriors alike. It will include entertainment, and talks by Lizelle Knott from Cancervive, a lymphoma survivor and breast cancer warrior, and Simone Simon, lifestyle coach and personal trainer, will share a healthy lifestyle program.

Arms of Mercy was founded in 2017 by a small team of individuals drawn to the call of service to others and making a difference in the lives of children battling cancer.

The registered non-profitable initiative creates unique, high-quality handmade bracelets, each for a specific child/ren in need in order to raise funds, with all proceeds benefitting the kids and enabling their parents.
