Ianthe Wessels

“Children bring joy, happiness and laughter to life and taking hands with AOM who has so much passion and love for children, it’s my dream and goal to help them help the little angels who suffer so much everyday to get stronger and healthier to be able to have a joyful life, for themselves and their parents. For every child their is hope, as we walk by faith and not by sight. It’s such an honour to be part of this life changing NPC.”

Ianthe was born and raised in Krugersdorp. She matriculated at Hoërskool Bastion in 1996. She started her career after she matriculated and finally found herself working for the largest Security Company in South Africa, Fidelity Security Group, as Wahl Bartmann’s Senior Executive Assistant. She was part of the company for 16 years. During her career, she did her diploma in Business Admin Management and received several accolades within the Company.

In 2018, she decided to invest in herself and resigned from the Corporate industry and Fidelity Security Group. She decided to do something totally different and studied in 4 different areas and certified as an Image Consultant, Microblading artist, lash extensions artist and makeup artist. Trying to establish and grow a small business was and is still a challenge, so she had to put her dream aside, but still enjoys working as a free-lance makeup artist, and is a team member of the JB Make Up Group in Pretoria.

In 2019, she decided to fulfil another dream to improve her confidence and self-love, as well as build a network and relationships with people.

She entered numerous pageants and was crowned as;

She wrote a piece in the “Ek Ook” book with Susan Coetzer and 100 other women for the Finesse Voelgoed Tydskrif, which was published in 2019.

As far as 2020 is concerned…. it has kept her on her knees!!!. She is still creating awareness about The Cradle of Hope, and how domestic Violence and abuse is affecting everyday life for the Centre. She is also getting involved with the Tears Foundation for abused and raped women and children, assisting with a project in the pipeline to help assist with raising funds.

Ianthe was appointed in 2020 as brand ambassador for Arms of Mercy NPC.

She again wrote with 70 other women in another book “Lyk Mooi, Leef Gesond, Lief die Lewe” for the Finesse Voelgoed Tydskrif, published in November 2020.

In her personal capacity,Ianthe relocated to Pretoria at the end of 2019. She is a very kind, soft hearted, humble and loving person, with 2 beautiful teenage daughters.

In her free time, she enjoys interior designing her own space. Loves dancing, listening to music…and nothing beats a good movie night on the couch.

She always enjoys judging modeling competitions and beauty pageants.

Love, Hope, Trust and Pray is her everyday motto.

Tuané Rademan

“I am passionate about Arms of Mercy because you pursue a passion for helping children and families and your mission is to achieve the best quality of life and care for children with life-changing conditions and their families by raising funds for life saving treatment for the children. You change the life of children and the lives of their families forever.”

I am 15 year old, Tuané Rademan, from the beautiful Jacaranda City , Pretoria.

Determination, Authenticity and Boldness are only a few words that I strive to live by, and it naturally overflows into what I am passionate about, modelling, athletics, spending time with my family and friends and helping those in need.

My motto in life is simple- “Take in the good” to focus on the beauty around me, the positives in my own life , and what I am grateful for.

I have been doing pageants since December 2018. Since then I have earned a few titles:
– Catwalk Model of the year 2019
– Teen Miss RSA 2019-2020
– World International Queen 2020-2021
– Miss Kairos 2020-2021
– Premier Model Fashion Suprime 2020
– PPMC Face of Hope
– Miss Macnicifent SA Snr Overall Winner
– Royal International Miss Jnr Teen SA 2021

Never could I imagine that my year would be turned upside down. My plans were derailed ,but my eyes were focused on the horizon. Covid brought so many opportunities to me , and I was able to touch many lives. I cannot wait to represent our beautiful country SA aboard in 2021.

Competing in Pageants has its ups and downs, but the most important thing is to always pick yourself up, dust yourself off and try again. Your BIG WIN will come your way. Always stay humble and true to yourself.

“Crowns are not made of rhinestones. They are made of discipline, determination, consistency and a rare trait, called courage”.

Lots of love Tuané Rademan xxx
